The NEW Online Taxi Price Calculator for taxi4Torbay is now LIVE!. Taxi4Torbay are a local Taxi Hire company who cover the area of Torbay and beyond.
The new price calculator lets you calculate the approximate cost of your taxi journey. The price calculator is based on Ajax/Jquery/MySql/Php and uses licensed postcode data supplied by the OS Dept.

Launch of my NEW website

Well, after a quiet period for a few days I've managed to sit down and re-design my website for www.art-grafix.co.uk. It didn't take too long to know what I wanted, and the website had to be built around Codeigniter. I managed to get the website all done in 4 days.
I'm very pleased with the resulting website design and no doubt will add a few things along the way both on the frontend and the backend.
I'm sure that if you ask any website designer they will all agree that designing your own website is a nightmare! Just in the same way that you should never proof-read your own work. It's not easy to be as 'detached' as it is when you are working on a clients website or design project.
Anyway, I give you www.art-grafix.co.uk V2.0. :-)
NEW Brochure Website for Roadfridge

John Kimberley at Roadfridge based in Dartington, near Totnes, first approached me to discuss a small website for their company after a personal recommendation from one of my other clients.
Roadfridge are what you may term a traditional 'Old School' business, but like most things they realised that they had to drag themselves into the 21st Century just slightly.
An initial meeting with John quickly helped me realise that they wanted a nice clean simple design that would showcase their skills as refrigeration engineers. All delivered on budget and on time!

Website makeover for Classic Country Ranges

Classic Country Ranges were already an existing client when managing director Bill Platt asked me to take a look at their website with a view to a makeover and carrying out some updates.
The new website certainly delivers the goods. The company receive enquiries as far a field as the North of England. They also receive daily mail order requests and they achieve very high search engine rankings for their target market specific 'Keywords'.
